A native of the Steppes of Central Asia, the Battrian camel, also called two bumps, belongs to the Camelidae family. Larger and larger than the dromedary, the camel is also provided with two back bumps and more abundant fur. He is able to adapt to the most extreme climatic conditions: hot and dry summer and harsh and snowy winters but also to live relatively long without water.
