Recognizable by its flat head in the form of the blue whale weighs at birth, in early winter, no less than 2 and a half tonnes for a size of 7 m. Buying daily between 380 and 570 liters of milk, it can take up to 90 kg per day and double length when weaning at the age of 7-9 months. Its diet is then essentially composed of small shrimps called Krill.
