Appeared on earth 156 million years ago Ceratosaurus was among the wildest carnivores of its time. This robust and powerful dinosaur could measure up to 6 meters long and 2 meters high and a weight of about 800 kilograms. Lonely in nature, he rarely hunted as a pack preferring small groups of two specimens and used his previous legs to capture his prey. The species disappeared 144 million years ago following the appearance of a formidable predator: the Allosaurus.
