Papo Crab (2022)

The sleeper crab, also known as a tatter, is the most common species in Europe. This large crab with 5 pairs of legs is recognizable by its brown shell with orange nuances and lined with a serrated festoon. The latter allows it to easily blend into a rocky environment and to merge with the oval pebbles that litter the seabed. This phenomenon is accentuated in older individuals whose shell has lined with marine organisms.
