Dinosaur carnivore at the start of the Jurassic (about 200 million years ago), the dilophosaur could measure up to 6 meters long and had to weigh around 500 kg. Joints allowed him to fold the two bone ridges with his skull which made his particularity, and gave him his name (lizard with 2 ridges in Greek).
