Papo Feathered velociraptor (2022)

Paleontologists had suspicions about the existence of feathers covering the body of this little carnivore living 85 million years ago in Mongolia and China. This is now confirmed: the velociraptor had feathers. Even if these were not enough to fly, they allowed him to regulate his temperature according to his environment. Approached to birds, this two -way has been reproduced in great detail by Papo. Its lower maxillarum highlights a very powerful jaw with around 80 sharp teeth. The retractile claw on each rear paw and its rigid tail allow him to stand up while keeping his balance.
