In ancient Rome, the gladiators were professional combatants who clashed in a duel by defined pairs. The Gladiator Papo has everything of a "hoplomaque" which fought with a dagger or a short lance and protects itself thanks to a helmet and a small round shield. He was fighting in the arena against the "Mirmillon" and sometimes the "Thrace".
