The ladybugs are insects of the family of the beetles recognizable by the red color of their elytra. This color, which is also a natural defense means, is at the origin of their name which comes from the Latin coccinus - "scarlet". Unlike popular belief, tasks on its wings do not give its age but represents a key to identifying the species. Ladybugs are now very popular with gardeners in their fight against aphids.
