Originally from Madagascar lemurs, are very social small primates that can weigh up to 9kg. Their name derives from the lemons which, in Roman mythology, were ghosts or spirits because of their vocalizations but also of their eyes which reflect light and their nocturnal habits. The lemur mainly consumes fruit and leaves, however this diet can vary from a species to the other.
