Papo Lying tigress nursing (2014)

After a gestation of 103 days on average, the tigress puts down one or more small that can weigh from 700 g to 1,600 g. At birth, the latter do not know how to walk and are also blind during the first fourteen days of their lives! They will therefore fully depend on their mother during this period. Up to their 8 months, babies will mainly drink milk, it is only after 40 days that the tigress will let them eat meat.
