Papo Parasaurolophus (2022)

Dinosaur of the upper Cretaceous (about 75 million years ago), parasaurolophus could measure up to 10 meters and weigh more than 2 tonnes! This great herbivore with flattened beak is known for its long bone crest surmounting its head. This impressive ridge could measure up to 1.80 m long and was likely to fulfill several functions. Crew and connected to the nose, it seems that it allows the parasaurolophus to emit sounds and thus to communicate with its fellows. Another hypothesis is that this ridge was also used to regulate temperature or played a role of seduction during the love period.
