Extraordinary bird, the Phoenix has a plumage in shimmering colors, a mixture of red, blue and gold, giving it the appearance of a fire bird. It is said that it can only be one at a time and that it would live more than 500 years. Unable to reproduce, when the Phoenix feels its end coming it makes a nest based on aromatic branches and incense to which it sets fire. Thus he consumes himself in the flames, before reborn from his ashes.
