The 18 species of seals that currently constitute the phocidae family include the real seal as much as the sea elephant. This adorable animal with a fusiform body measures between 1 and 6 meters and lives mainly in water. He is, however, very little comfortable on earth where he goes only to reproduce. Unlike its cousin, the sea lion, the seal can only move by using its two previous limbs, in fact, its posterior can only serve as support because not foldable under the belly.
