Papo Shetland pony (2014)

The Shetland is a breed of British pony from the Shetland Islands, in the north of Scotland. It is one of the smallest equines in the world, a particularity that it owes to its adaptation to the rigorous biotope of its original island. Shetland was a great success in the 1850s thanks to its reduced size, which allows it to sneak in the narrow mining galleries to wear coal or metals. With the development of riding on pony, it has become a leisure and education animal for children, which has earned it the whole world. All dresses are admitted, except the spotted dress.
