Stegosaurus is a herbivore that experienced 150 million years ago at the end of the Jurassic. This dinosaur with a small head and long snout could measure up to 9m long and 4m high and weighed almost 3 tonnes. Its back had large protruding plates, up to 2m high, which played a key role in thermal regulation.
